OxPOD

The Oxford Policy Dialogue (OxPoD) is an innovative platform that connects experts and academics from relevant fields with analysts and policymakers.

It was created in July 2016 to facilitate free, open, and timely exchange between academic researchers and government officials.

To date, OxPoD has operated through targeted events, including workshops, speaker series, problem/policy challenge sessions, and training of officials in the fields of political violence, P/CVE, and counter-terrorism.

The initiative works to identify organizational culture and procedural practices that hamper exchange between the research and policy spheres and to institutionalize a range of practices to sharpen the tools and improve the lessons that can make governments more effective.
